Obtaining quotes from HICAPS through CareStack can be effortlessly done by following some simple steps.

Let's get started!
- Search for the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Click on the Chart quick link.
1. To get a quote for either multiple or single procedure codes:
- From the Clinical Chart, select the Code(s) by clicking on the desired checkboxes.
- Right-click over the line item.
- Click Get Quotes from HICAPS.
On the Confirm Codes window:
- Select the Terminal.
- Review the Provider and Insurance fields, which will be pre-filled.
- Click HICAPS to fetch the quote for the selected codes.
| Tip: If needed, you can deselect any code by clicking on the Trash icon to update the quote. |
2. To get a quote for a Treatment Plan:
- Select the Treatment Planner tab.
- Select the codes available in the treatment plan by clicking on the desired checkboxes.
- Right-click over the line item.
- Click Get Quotes from HICAPS.
On the Confirm Codes window:
- Select the Terminal and review the Provider and Insurance fields, which will be pre-filled.
- Click on the HICAPS icon to fetch the quote for the selected codes.

- You will receive a copy of quote printout.
- If the Benefit is zero, the HICAPS claim will be rejected and you will see the rejection reason below.
