Let's explore the CS Membership Profile Permissions in CareStack. These permissions provide access to the CS Membership Portal and allow for adding or editing a patient's plan.

Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Administration > Profiles.
- Click Manage Permissions on the intended profile.
- Select Membership Plan.
Let's walk you through an illustration of the CS Membership Profile Permissions and the tabs they correspond to within the Portal.
Agreement
Select the View Agreement and Add/Edit Agreement options under the Agreement section as needed.
- Enabling this permission allows access to View, Add and Edit Contract Agreements.
- Once all the permissions are granted, click Save.
Note: This permission restricts the ability to alter contract agreements to specific users, such as the super admin, since agreements are sensitive documents. |
All Transactions
Select the View Subscription Fee Transactions option under All Transactions.
Enabling this permission allows access to view the All Transactions tab within the Membership Portal.
Members
- Select the View Members option under Members section.
- Enabling this permission allows access to View Members within the Membership Portal.
Overview
Select the View Overview and Plan Analytics option under the Overview section.
Enabling this permission allows access to View Overview and Plan Analytics within the Membership Portal.
Plan Subscription
- Select the Add Patients to Active Membership Plans option to activate this permission for adding a membership plan to a patient.
- Select the Edit Subscription Details for a Member option to activate the permission for terminating a membership plan for a patient.
Enabling this permission allows access to Add Patients to Active Membership Plans and Edit/Terminate Subscription Details for a Member within the Membership Portal.
Plans
- Select the View Membership Plans option which allows access to view the Plans tab in the Membership Portal, which also includes the sub-tabs of Active Plans, Upcoming Plans, Draft Plans, and Inactive Plans.
- Select the Add/Edit Membership Plans option which allows users to perform actions on membership plans within the Plan tab of the Membership Portal, such as Creating, Deactivating, Editing, Deleting, and Activating Plans.
Enabling this permission allows access to View Membership Plans and Add/Edit Membership Plans within the Membership Portal.
Settings
- Select the View Plan Settings option to activate the permission to view the ‘Settings’ tab in the Membership Portal, which also includes the sub-tabs of ‘Code Categories’ and ‘Included Benefit Templates.’
- Select the Add/Edit Plan Settings option to activate the permission to perform actions within the ‘Settings’ tab of the Membership Portal, such as Creating, Duplicating, Editing, and Deleting both Code Categories and Included Benefit Templates.
Enabling this permission allows access to View Plan Settings and Add/Edit Plan Settings within the Membership Portal.
