This guide explains how to enable the required permissions in Chrome for CareStack Imaging Link and HICAPS Bridge to function smoothly after the latest Chrome browser update.
Steps to Enable Permissions
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the three-dot menu on the top-right.
- Select Settings.
- In the left panel, select Privacy and Security.
- Select Site Settings.
- Click Additional permissions.
- Scroll down and click Apps on device.
- Choose 'Sites can ask to access other apps and services on this device’.
- Click Add next to ‘Allowed to access other apps and services on this device’.
- In the Add a site modal, enter your URL in the format practicedomain.carestack.au.
- For example, if your practice URL is abc.carestack.au, then 'abc' is your practice domain.
- Click Add.
- Refresh the browser.
Note: This is a one-time setup required after the latest Chrome update.
