Switch to Offline Mode
When the internet connection is lost, a notification modal appears.
- In the modal, click Switch to Offline Mode.
- You will be redirected to Offline Mode.
| Note: If AEKA is not open when the connection drops, you can still access it by typing AEKA Offline in your desktop search. |
View or Add Patients in Offline Mode
In Offline Mode, you can access and manage patient records.
- The All Patients list is displayed by default.
To add a new patient,
- Click Add Patient on the top right.
- In the Add Patient modal,
- Enter the patient's First Name and Last Name.
- Select the DOB (Date of Birth).
- Select the Gender.
- Click Save Patient.
- A toast notification will appear stating, 'Patient created successfully.'
| Note: Patient created in offline mode will be tagged as 'Offline Record' to help differentiate them. |
- Once the patient is created, users can proceed with image capture as usual.
| Note: All imaging features continue to work seamlessly in Offline Mode, allowing you to continue your workflow without disruption. |
Switch Back to Online Mode
- When the internet connection is restored, a banner confirms that you’re back online.
- Click Switch to online mode from the banner.
After switching back online, a sync notification appears.
- To upload all offline records, click Sync Patient Data and assign the patient.
- AEKA will then complete the sync automatically.
- Click Sync Patient Data.
- In the Sync Patient Data modal,
- You can view the list of patients created offline.
- Click Select Patient to merge records.
- Search for the existing patient.
- Hover over the patient and click Link Record.
- Once the sync is complete, a confirmation message appears stating, 'All Patient Data Synced.'
