Note: The Patient's Total Balance is the sum of the Total Aging Balance and Contracted Balance. |

If you select the account ledger, it will show you the due entries and ledger transactions of the account where account members (possibly the patient's family) are also present.
Ledger Items
- Aging Buckets: This is the breakup of outstanding balances by the length of time they have been due. These categories help practices track and manage their accounts receivable by showing how long bills have been unpaid. The ledger displays the breakup of outstanding aging balances by the number of days. For example. 0-30, 31-60 days, etc.
- Bal. Due (Balance Due): The balance due is the total amount of the sum of all aging balances of patients or insurance.
- Total Aging Bal.: It is the sum of total patient and insurance aging balances combined.
- Rem. Cont. Amt. (Remaining Contracted Amount): Remaining Contracted Amount is the amount yet to be received in payment plans.
- Patient Unapplied: It is the Patient's unapplied credits.
- Net Balance: The total balance minus the patient's unapplied credits.
