The patient snapshot provides a quick overview of the patient while you are on the 'All Patients' page or other pages under Lists. It also provides quick links to various important areas of the patient such as the Patient Overview, Patient's Treatment Planner, Patient's Chart, etc.
Let's explore the features of the patient snapshot.
Navigate to the System Menu >select View All Patients under Operations.

- Hover over Lists.
Select any of the intended pages.
On the Patients page or the selected Lists page, click on any of the patient hyperlinks to see the patient snapshot.
The top section of the patient snapshot displays the basic details of the patient, such as the Name, Patient ID, Date of Birth, Age, Gender, Photo, and Active status. You can also view the patient flags in the same section.
On the bottom of the patient snapshot, you can find three tabs, namely Details, Account, and Medical Alerts.
Select the Details tab to view the contact details, such as Phone number, Address, Email, etc. It also shows the Default Location and Default Provider of the patient.
Click the Account tab to get a quick overview of patients linked to the selected account. The overview consists of a table showing the Patient ID, Patient name, Age, and the Next Appointment of the patient that is linked to the account.
Select the Medical Alerts tab to view all Conditions, Allergies and Current Medications of the patient, if any.
- You can utilise the quick links provided on the right side of the patient snapshot to quickly access different records of the patient. The quick links are as listed below.
- Patient Overview
- Account Summary
- Treatment
- Chart
- Payment
- Memo
- Document
- Communication
- Appointments
Note: Certain quick links will be opened on a new tab, and others will be opened as a slider. They are differentiated by the icons on the right. Users can use these quick link options to seamlessly navigate from the Opportunity Miner or Patient List to the relevant page. |
