Practices can utilise the double booking feature to add multiple appointments and/or block slots in the same time slot. This feature allows the following actions:
- Add Multiple Appointments to a Single Time Slot
- Add Multiple Block Slots to a Single Time Slot
- Add Appointments and Block Slots to a Single Time Slot
| Note: To utilise this feature, make sure Double Booking has been enabled for your account. |

Here is how you can use Double Booking to book multiple appointments in the same time slot.
Navigate to the Scheduler.
Click and Drag on the available space next to the appointment that has been booked.
On the appointment slide-out that appears, use the Search Patient bar to select the patient.
- Enter the necessary information.
- Click Book Appointment.
Once the Appointment is booked, you can view it on the Scheduler.
Additionally, you can Block Slots with a right-click in the space next to the booked appointments.
In the Block Slot modal,
- Enter the necessary information to complete the process.
- Time: Enter the start time and end time of the blocked slot.
- Duration: The duration of the time slot will be displayed based on the Time input.
- Provider: Select the Provider for the time slot.
- Operatory: Choose the Operatories where the time slots should apply.
- Block Color: Choose a colour to quickly identify the slot.
- Recurrence Mode: Choose whether you want the slot to recur One Time, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- Block Note: Enter the block note which will appear on the blocked slot.
- Click Block Slot.
Moreover, if you look closely at the Compressed View, you can see a mesh texture, indicating that there is a double booking.
While printing an appointment, the double booking and blocked slot will be visible on the printed page.
