Routing slips in CareStack work as a form of internal communication within dental teams, conveying information about the patients being seen, the services rendered, and the production generated, among other pertinent details.

Print Routing Slips
Printing a routing slip when a provider has a single appointment:
- Navigate to the Scheduler.
- Click the Print option on the top right.
On the Print modal that appears,
- Select the Routing Slip tab.
- Enter the following details:
- Location: Select the intended location.
- Provider: Select the required provider(s).
- Date: Choose the date.
- Time: Enter the 'start' and 'end' time.
- Click Print.
| Note: The routing slip will be printed for the selected provider(s), and it will include all appointments and block slots associated with that provider. |
Once printed, the routing slip displays information related to the provider's appointment(s), with the Practice Name, Patient Name, and Patient ID in the header, and the Printed On (date), Page Number, and Printed By (username) in the footer.
| Note: Appointment in the routing slip will be now printed based on the appointment scheduled time. When multiple appointments are scheduled for the same time, the earliest created will appear first on the routing slip. |
Customise Routing Slips
Users can configure the fields that should appear in the print out of the routing slip.
To customise a routing slip,
- Navigate to the Scheduler.
- Click on Scheduler Setup menu.
- Select Routing Slip.
- Select Account / Location tab as needed.
- Click Edit.
- Checkmark the sections you want to display on the printed Routing Slip.
- Click Save.

Patient Information
The Patient Information can be located at the beginning of the routing slip. It contains details such as:

- Gender
