There are two ways you can Check Out an appointment in CareStack. Please note that when a patient's appointment is wrapping up, just before you check out the appointment, do a quick check to make sure the procedures that were completed are set to 'Completed'.

Let's get started!
Option 1
- Navigate to the Scheduler.
- Right-click on the intended Appointment tile.
- Click Check Out.
Option 2
- Click on the desired appointment tile from the Scheduler.
- From the Appointment slide-out, change the Status to Checked Out.
- A notification will appear at the top right stating 'Appointment status changed successfully.'
- A Checkout Confirmation modal will appear if any procedure codes on that appointment are not in completed status.
- All procedure codes that are not Completed will be displayed and are selected by default.
- Unselect any codes as required. These codes will be delinked from the appointment during check out.
- Once you are sure, click Confirm to proceed.
| Note: If a patient is scheduled for a future date, CareStack will not allow you to check out the patient until the appointment date. Moreover, to notify the user of the same, the following prompt will show up. |
