Let's get started on how the status of a procedure code can be updated by users who have permission to do so.
Updating the procedure code status can be done from three specific areas within the system.

Advanced Treatment Planner
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
Hover over Clinical > select Treatment Planner.
On the Treatment Planner,
- Right-click on the code's status that you need to change.
- Select the desired status from the pop-up menu.
- This will update the procedure code to the newly chosen status.
You will see a notification on the top right stating, 'Code(s) status updated successfully.'

The pop-ups appear only for select statuses, which, when addressed accurately, lets the user update the code(s) successfully.
Appointment Details
- From the patients' Appointment slide out, right-click the desired procedure code for which you would like to update the status.
- You will receive a notification on the top right indicating that the status and fee of the selected procedure code(s) have been successfully updated.
- Click Save to update the appointment and continue.
Dental Chart
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Hover over Clinical > select Chart.
- Navigate to the procedure code(s) and right-click the desired code(s).
- Choose the required status to update the same.
- You will see the related notification on the top right confirming that the code status has been updated successfully.
Retrieve Procedure Code Statuses Data
- Treatment that has already been Accepted can neither be reverted to a Proposed or Alternative Status nor can it be placed on Hold.
- For retrieving data on procedure code statuses or for locating discrepancies such as between Service Date and Entry Date, etc., check out the Procedures Report.
- To run the report, navigate to the System Menu and select Operational Reports under Insights.
- Select Procedures Report.
- Click Generate Report to run the desired data.
