Let's learn more about the View Statistics option in Perio Chart.
To begin,
- Search for the intended patient using the Global Search Bar.
- Click the Perio quick link.
Click View Statistics on the top right.
- A pop-up appears displaying the Statistics of the existing chart in the system, including details such as:
- Pocket Depths
- Gingival Margin
- Bleeding on Probing (BOP)
- Furcation
- Mobility
- Warning Levels

Pocket Depth Segregation are categorised into 1-3 mm PD, 4-6 mm PD, 7-9 mm PD, and 10+ mm PD.
- Each tooth will be assigned to the highest applicable pocket depth.
- For example, if a tooth has both 3 mm and 5 mm pocket depths, it will be placed in the 4-6 mm category.
The same categorisation applies to Gingival Margin, Furcation, and Mobility, where the highest recorded value determines the assigned category.
BOP (Bleeding on Probing) of sites shows the percentage of teeth sites in the mouth that bleed.
- Its calculated using the number of sites with bleeding and the total number of sites.
- In the image below, 1 out of 192 sites shows Bleeding on Probing (BOP), which is 0.52%.
- (Total number of sites with bleeding/Total number of sites) * 100
BOP (Bleeding on Probing) of teeth shows the percentage of teeth in the mouth that bleed.
- Its calculated using the number of teeth with bleeding and the total number of teeth.
- In the image below, 3.13% of the teeth show Bleeding on Probing (BOP), with 1 tooth affected out of a total of 32.
- (Number of teeth with bleeding/Total number of Teeth) * 100.
- The Calculate Index in % will display the percentage values for Bleeding, Plaque, and Suppuration.
- The Warning levels for each category are displayed, with the warning levels assigned and number of teeth falling under each level indicated within brackets.
