Maximise the Trend Analysis Feature – CareStack

Trend Analysis is a new analytic feature of CareStack that allows you to determine the performance of your practice by analysing multiple metrics and spotting a pattern or trend among them against the right location, provider, or time.

Criteria

To obtain the desired result, you have to select some inputs. The result will be reflected in real-time when the inputs are changed.

Let's get started!

Location or Provider: You can run the trend analysis for either a location or a provider.
- - Select the required tab (Location or Provider).
  - Select the intended Location(s) or Provider(s) by clicking the corresponding checkboxes.
  - Click Apply.

Note: You will be able to view the short and long names of Locations and Providers for better clarity and understanding.

Metrics: Select the Metrics that require comparison.
You can select multiple Metrics as needed, which are categorised based on different criteria.
After selecting the checkboxes, click Apply.

Note: Use the Clear All button to quickly deselect all selected metrics in Trend Analysis, eliminating the need to manually uncheck each one.

Note: If your practice is not sure about what metrics to analyse, we suggest you use the 'CareStack Recommended Metrics' and you will be able to check the practice health without much hassle. By default, this set of metrics is selected for you.

Period: Select the intended timeframe on which the trend must be analysed to get a period-over-period comparison.
- - You will be able to use Month Over Month, Quarter Over Quarter, and Year Over Year.

Results

Once you have selected the location(s) or provider(s), metrics, and period, the results will be reflected on the right.

On the left side of the trend analysis table, you will be able to view the selected Metrics.
On the top side of the table, you can view the period-over-period comparison as columns.
