Practices can create Treatment Plan Templates by defining phases and adding codes, which can be reused in the Treatment Planner and Chart. This streamlines the process and reduces the time spent to manually enter them each time.

Let's see how to create them.
Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Clinical > Treatment Plans.
Click on + Add New Tx. Template (Add New Treatment Template).
- Enter the Template Name.
- Select the initial Status of the treatment plan template.
- Choose Everyone to share the template with all providers or choose Select for provider option to pick specific provider(s).
- Select the required Codes to be added to the phase.
- Click Apply.
- To repeat a procedure code on the same phase, click on the duplicate icon.
- To remove a procedure code from a phase, click on the trash icon.
- Click + Add Phase to add a new phase.
- To move codes from one phase to another or to rearrange codes within a phase, simply drag and drop the codes as required.
To change the Phase Name,
- Click the pencil icon next to the phase name.
- Enter the new Phase Name and click the checkmark to save it.
To assign a phase time,
- Click Assign Time for the intended phase.
- Enter the assigned time in hours and minutes.
- Click Assign.
- Repeat the same steps for the remaining phases as needed.
- Click Save.
- A toast notification will appear on the top right stating, 'Treatment Plan Template Added Successfully.'
- The new treatment plan template will appear on the top of the grid.
- You can view details such as the Treatment Plan Name, No. of Phases (Number of Phases), Shared to, and Status.
- To make any changes to an existing treatment plan template, click Edit.
