The GST Report is used to review the GST (Goods & Service Tax) component of completed production, helping ensure accurate visibility of tax amounts at both summary and detailed levels. The report can be grouped by location, provider, or invoice, and apply filters to analyse specific data.
Let's get started!
Navigate to the System Menu > select Operational Reports under Insights.
Click the + icon on the left or the Generate Report button on the right for the chosen report.

Let us explore the filters:

| 1 | Date (Trans. Date)* | Filter transactions based on the Transaction Date of the Code/Adjustment. Select a maximum of up to one year. *By default, Prev. Month is selected. |
| 2 | Group By* | Choose to group the report by Location, Provider, or Invoice. *By default, Location is selected. |
| 3 | Location* | Choose to focus the report on a selected location. *By default, the user’s default location is selected. |
| 4 | Provider | Choose to focus the report based on the provider against the Code/Transaction. |
| 5 | Action | Choose this option to focus your report on specific actions, such as Adjustments, Code Completion, Code Deletion, Fee Updates, and Reversals. |
Once you have selected the desired filters, click on the Generate button to generate your on-screen report or Download Report As button to download your report.
Generation/Download Criteria
- Due to data volume, reports with more than 10 Locations or a date range exceeding 3 Months will not be generated on-screen.
- Reports meeting these criteria will be accessible in the Scheduled Downloads section.
Result
Now, let us take a look at the results of the GST Report.
- Location: The location associated with the transaction.
- Provider: The provider associated with the transaction.
- Invoice: The invoice associated with the completed procedure code.
- Transaction Date: The date on which the transaction was completed in the system.
- Date Of Service: The date on which the treatment procedure was performed.
- Code: The treatment procedure code against which the transaction was performed.
- Action: The action performed such as Code Completion, Adjustment, Reversal, or Deletion etc.
- Net Production: The net production impact of the transaction.
- GST: The GST portion calculated from the production amount associated with the transaction.

To enable permissions for the GST Report,
- Navigate to the System Menu > select Practice Settings > Administration > Profiles.
- Click Manage Permissions for the intended profile.
- Select Insights.
- Select the Generate GST Report option under Operational Reports.
- Click Save.
- On the Confirm Action modal that appears, click Yes to proceed.
- A toast notification appears on the top right stating, 'Profile updated successfully'.
