Marking a duplicate patient profile can be resolved easily by marking the 'duplicate' profile as Duplicate and then linking it to the 'correct' patient profile.

| Note: A patient profile cannot be linked to another if it has any outstanding charges, future appointments. If the 'Duplicate' patient profile is set as the Responsible Party (RP) for the account members (or is set as their own RP), the RP should be reassigned to the 'correct' patient profile first. |
Let's get started!
- Select the patient using the Global Search Bar to open the related Patient Overview.
- Click on the Pencil icon.
- Click Mark as duplicate on the 'Patient Flags' pop-up.
- In the Link Patient modal that appears, you can select the intended Patient to mark as original.
Note: The window will display the number of items this patient has in their records. |
- Click Yes on the warning modal to continue.
- Once the action is completed, the system will ask you if you want to be taken to the correct patient profile.
- Click Proceed as suited to your requirements.
- You have now successfully marked the account as duplicate and you have linked the profile to the 'correct' profile.
