Dive into the 10.29 release updates!
1. Launching CS Learn Digital Assistant
-
We are excited to launch the CS Learn Digital Assistant, an AI-driven tool that delivers intelligent support throughout the system. From exploring new features to navigating workflows, CS Learn offers smart answers, step-by-step guides, and tutorial videos to help you learn continuously. Click Help to get started.
1. Easily Identify Patient Reschedules and Cancellations
a. Cancellation and No-Show counts are now retained even if you reschedule the appointments, making it easier to review a patient's previous appointment history.
b. We have added a new 'Previous Reschedules' label in the cancellation modal. Now you can see how many times a patient has rescheduled before.
c. You can also find this information in the Patient's Appointments page.
1. New Enhancements in Tx Plans Tab
a. Users no longer need to navigate to the Treatment Planner, these features are now conveniently accessible from the Tx Plans tab below the Odontogram.
- Re-calculate button to update fees on treatment plans or ungrouped treatments.
- View the Assigned Time of each phase, editable via the pencil icon.
- Drag-and-drop to rearrange treatment phases.
2. Select ‘All’ Tooth Surfaces with One Click
- Introducing the ‘All’ button in the Tooth Selector that lets you select all tooth surfaces at once.
3. Lock Treatment Fees to Restrict Fee Change
- If practices want to retain the original fees for a treatment code despite changes to the Fee Schedule, they can Lock the Treatment Fees from the Treatment Planner or CodeStack. This prevents the fee for that specific code from being updated during a Re-calculation.
4. Location Access Restricted to Allowed Location(s)
- In previous releases, we had implemented location-based user access restrictions in the Treatment Planner. With this update, they also apply to Migrated Balances: Users can add balances only for their allowed location(s).
1. Apply Adjusted Amount to Next or All Future Installments
- Previously, when a practice edited or skipped an installment in a Payment Plan, the outstanding balance was automatically distributed evenly across the remaining installments. Now, you have the flexibility to choose whether the adjusted amount should be applied solely to the next upcoming installment or allocated equally across all remaining installments.
2. Provider-Specific ABNs in Patient Invoices
- In scenarios where practices share a business location with external providers operating under separate ABNs, these providers are designated as businesses. The latest update enables external providers to generate individual invoices using their own ABN, instead of defaulting to the clinic’s ABN.
1. HICAPS Payments: Default to Last Used Terminal
a. For quicker payment processing on HICAPS payments, the system now auto-populates the HICAPS Terminal ID based on the following conditions:
-
- If only one Terminal is available, it will be auto-selected by default.
- When multiple Terminals exist, the last used one is auto-filled to save user verification each time.
1. Forms & Letters Now Show Added Location for Consistency
-
Previously, in multi-location practices, Forms and Letters displayed the user’s login location in the PMS and the patient’s default location in the Patient Portal. Now, the location where the form or letter was added will only be shown, ensuring consistent branding and quick links across all access points.
2. Modified Communication Preferences in the Patient Portal
a. Consent checkboxes for Communication Preferences have been restructured. Previously grouped together, they are now separated into:
-
- Operational Communications (Text & Email)
- Marketing & Promotional Updates
1. Text Medium Now Available for Forms Reminder Campaigns
-
Forms Reminder Campaigns now support SMS in addition to email, improving visibility and patient engagement, while reducing the chances of missed reminders. Click ‘Add Text’ to get started.
2. Campaigns Now Powered with Opportunity Miner
a. You can now build more targeted and data-driven campaigns using Opportunity Miner. This enhancement applies to Automated Recall and Promotional Campaigns that previously relied on basic patient list filters to define recipients.
-
-
Easily create refined patient lists based on recall status, treatment history, insurance behavior, and more, thereby helping your team run high-impact reactivation and marketing campaigns.
-
Existing campaigns will continue to function, with no additional action required from your end.
-
1. Latest Updates in the Payroll Feature
a. You can set a Minimum Guarantee for providers, ensuring they receive the higher of either the guaranteed amount or their actual earnings. This can be easily overridden at the individual provider level for extra flexibility.
b. Easily auto-deduct Lab Case costs directly from Provider Payouts via the Payroll Profile. You can include Lab Cases within a custom date range. Batches will now appear as 'Pending Review', allowing you to quickly review, add or update lab costs manually before publishing.
c. Set up a pin for additional access control for users accessing Payroll.
1. Download List of All Users
-
The Users grid in Practice Settings now includes a 'Download' option, allowing users to export the full user list with details to a CSV format.
1. IP Restrictions Now Support Both IPv4 and IPv6 Formats
-
We have expanded IP Restrictions to support both IPv4 and IPv6 Formats. You can now assign IPv6 addresses as the allowed addresses while setting up IP restrictions. See the 'View Supported Formats' for more information.
